Following the Public Inquiry held in January this year into an appeal by Greenswitch Capital against the decision by Babergh District Council to refuse the construction of a Solar Farm at Grove Farm, Bentley, the Planning Inspector has issued her appeal decision.
She has dismissed the appeal on the grounds that the harms to heritage assets, the Conservation Area, landscape character of the area, the setting of the National Landscape and to local tourism outweigh the public benefits of the proposed Solar Farm scheme.
